2017 Enders Symposium Panels available for viewing.

ACSUS is pleased to release videos of the three "2017 Enders Symposium on Canada-United States Relations" panels that took place as part of our 24th Biennial conference in Las Vegas last October. ACSUS is grateful to David Biette of the Council of State Governments for organizing the Symposium.  Generous funding was provided by the Thomas O. and Gaetana Enders Foundation.

Canadian books available

Jon Whitney has approached ACSUS with a request for assistance in finding a suitable home for him to donate some of his Canadian books.  A list of his titles can be found in the attached document.  If you are interested in obtaining these books for your campus library, kindly contact Jon directly at

Collection of Quebecois literature available

The family of Myrna Delson-Karan has expressed an interest in finding a suitable university home for the collection of Quebecois literature that Myrna built up over her long and distinguished career.  The collection includes some rare and first editions.  If your institution is interested in acquiring these materials, send in a brief (one-page) statement of how the collection would be used and why your  campus community would be a good home for these materials.  ACSUS will select the most suitable home from among the proposals we receive by February 1st, 2018.  Send proposals to

CFP - Special issue of CANADIAN LITERATURE

ACSUS has received a "call for poposals" for a special issue of Canadian Literature on "Rescaling CanLit: Global Readings" with Eva Darias-Beautell, University of La Laguna, Spain serving as the guest editor.  Full details can be found in the attachment here.  The deadline for submission of manuscripts is May 15, 2018.

Russia & Canada: Politics, Economics, and Multiculturalism

Bob Timko has forwarded a message from our Russian colleague  Alexander Kubyshkin informing us of the publication of a new book entitled Russia and Canada: Politics, Economics, and Multiculturalism.  Chapters are either in English or Russian.
