Association for Canadian Studies in the United States
The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) is a multi-disciplinary membership based organization committed to raising awareness and understanding of Canada and the bilateral relationship. ACSUS supports research and academic activity through its publications, conferences, and grant programs; promotes the academy through active advocacy and outreach; and positions the community by profiling the scope and diversity of research undertaken by the ACSUS membership in the humanities and social sciences.
L'Association des Études canadiennes aux États-Unis (ACSUS) est une association professionnelle interdisciplinaire vouée à l'analyse de la relation bilatérale entre le Canada et les États-Unis et à l'approfondissement de la compréhension du Canada dans le monde. ACSUS soutient la recherche et les activités universitaires par le biais de ses publications, ses colloques et programmes de subvention; rehausse le profil des études canadiennes à travers ses activités et son effort de conscientisation; et met en valeur cette communauté intellectuelle en disséminant l'étendue et la diversité des recherches de ses membres oeuvrant tant dans le domaine des humanités que dans celui des sciences sociales.

Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award
The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States is pleased to announce a new opportunity for researchers in the field of Canadian Studies: the Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award. With the generous support of the Thomas O. Enders Endowment, and in honor of the 50th anniversary of ACSUS, this $15,000 award will be granted biennially to support a U.S.-based scholar whose current research or creative project promises to make a significant contribution to the field of Canadian Studies.
The deadline for applications for the 2022 Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award is December 1, 2022.
The 26th Biennial ACSUS Conference will be held
November 16-19, 2023, in Washington, DC

American Review of Canadian Studies (ARCS) is a refereed, multidisciplinary, quarterly journal. Published since 1971 by ACSUS, ARCS examines Canada and the Canadian point of view from an American perspective.
